I managed to squeeze a bit of time for the challenge today.
I started by improving my setup a bit, by installing CygnusED on the Amiga "hard drive" (a Compact Flash card in reality) and organising the Gotek USB drive so I can actually find the Amiga disk image I'm using. Gotek's system is based on ADF image file names on the USB drive, which don't necessarily have anything to do with the disk label AmigaDOS sees and displays. If they don't match, well, there lies madness.
Today's task was to create a bigger, more detailed version of yesterday's picture. I don't know how ASCII art is normally scaled, but this was my technique: I simply inserted an extra line between every line, and an extra space between each character, which doubled the width and height. Then I partly just filled the missing part and partly re-drew those parts that benefited from more attention to detail. In the current scale I was able to get the snake heads and their teeth look closer to what the real thing is.
Amiga's Topaz font is a bit different from monospace fonts I have on my Mac, but the result is similar enough.
